Paper planes made of concrete

Paper planes made of concrete in front of the Lycée Hubert Clément in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg)

A new, extraordinary project by stayconcrete. Two paper planes, cast in concrete, based on the design of Serge Ecker placed in front of the Lycée Hubert Clément in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg). The concrete objects can not only be viewed here, but also invite you to linger. Overall, each planeimpresses with its size of 4.5 x 3.1 meters and its weight of a remarkable 2.5 tons.

The idea behind it: paper planes are a typical science project for pupils – and as planes made of concrete, they are meant to fly graduates symbolically into the world and into an exciting future.
