Every module consists of two opposing benches and a table in between, which can be grouped in any desired number – and which can be left outside all year round. Even harsh climatic conditions cannot harm the robust and carefully processed concrete.

On request, clever functions such as digital menus or QR codes for drawing attention to promotions can be integrated into the tabletop. The advertising space in the module base can be used for the owner’s promotions or as rentable advertising space for business partners.

The heated loungers from Stayconcrete are a further development from the concrete furniture designers of the heated benches and provide hospitality professionals with the opportunity to open their outdoor areas to guests, even in low temperatures.
The sophisticated technology in the interior of these loungers makes it possible to heat the entire reclining surface to a feel-good temperature of max. 45 °C. In this way, outside lounge and bar areas are open to service nearly all year-around.

Collaboration with internationally renowned product designer Sacha Lakic, who has already put his stamp on the heated benches, has resulted in the creation of extraordinary concrete furniture of three different designs. The loungers from stayconcrete are made completely of concrete.

Completely cast of concrete, these loungers are elegant and modern. Plus in combination with different materials such as wood or stainless steel, they are given a facelift that fits every ambience.

Das „Go Ten“ in der Stadt gönnt sich beheizbare Betonbänke in neuem Design „Made in Luxembourg“ zum 8. Geburtstag

Im „Go Ten“ am Marché aux Herbes sitzt die Kundschaft drinnen auf grauem Samt vor Moos an der Wand an schwarzen Tischen. Das trendige Lokal, das bekannt ist für seine japanischen Burger und das Thai-Fingerfood zum Aperitif, feiert heute ab 18.00 seinen achten Geburtstag. Und hat sich fein gemacht.

„Wir haben ganz neue beheizbare Betonstühle und beleuchtbare Tische aufgestellt“, erzählt Petar Ivanesevic. „Das ist eine Premiere in Luxemburg.“ Der Geschäftsführer von „Stay Concrete“ aus Contern ist stolz auf die Entwicklung. Die Möbel sind aus glattpoliertem, glänzendem Beton und wirken mit ihren leicht geschwungenen Lehnen elegant. „Das Podest, auf dem sie stehen, wird nachts von unten erleuchtet. Das sieht super aus“, schwärmt Ivanesevic.

Er ist 2011 auf die Idee gekommen. „Damals kam das Nichtrauchergesetz auf. In unseren Breiten kann man ohnehin nur drei Monate im Jahr draußen sitzen. Mit solchen Möbeln sind bis zu neun Monate möglich. Und die Restaurants machen keine Verluste“, betont er. „Das hier ist in drei Monaten abbezahlt, haben wir ausgerechnet.“

Entworfen hat die Möbel Sacha Lakic. Der Designer aus Helmsingen entwirft auch Motorräder für Yamaha oder Sofas, Teppiche und andere Einrichtungsgegenstände für die französische Kette „Roche Bobois“. Vom Design bis zur Fertigung sind die Möbel also „Made in Luxembourg“. Dabei wäre es fast anders gekommen.

Ivanesevic hat als Sieger des „Creative Business Club 2013“ in Luxemburg bereits am Finale in Kopenhagen teilgenommen und auch an einem Pitch in London mitgemacht. So langsam spricht sich sein Name herum. „Philip Morris ist interessiert, aber auch eine große Luxemburger Bäckerei sowie die Brauerei Bofferding“, sagt er über seine Stühle. Weitere Anfragen hat er vom „Crown Plaza Hotel“, dem „Frankfurter Hof“ und dem Europapark Rust.

Bis es soweit war, musste Ivanesevic warten. „Es hat zwei Jahre gedauert, bis alles funktioniert hat. Und zuvor habe ich eine ganze Weile nach dem geeigneten Designer gesucht“, sagt der Mann, der von vielen Kulturen beeinflusst ist. „Ich bin in New York und Berlin aufgewachsen, meine Mutter ist Deutsche, mein Vater Kroate.“ Ivanesevic selbst ist vor allem eines: Mitten in seinem Projekt – und mächtig stolz und gespannt auf das, was da noch kommt.
